Park Shore Waikiki in Honolulu is a Grand Heritage hotel. It opened its doors in 1968 when only 96 of the planned 227 rooms were ready and there was no restaurant or bar. Still it began attracting visitors from all over the world, including dignitaries like the Mayor of Paris, France, and became a well known name in the hospitality industry. Park Shore was renovated in 2001 which brought an updated look to the rooms and lobby.
