The
Doubletree is an upscale hotel brand offering unique properties
with individualized services. It was formed in 1993 by combining
Boston-based Guest Quarters and Phoenix-based Doubletree Hotels.
Since then it has been one of the fastest growing upscale hotel
brands with over 160 locations throughout the U.S., and international
locations in Monterrey, Mexico and Lima, Peru. The chain serves
primarily major metropolitan areas and leisure destinations,
with each of its hotels being a unique property reflecting the
local or regional environment. In November of 1999, Doubletree
Hotels, Suites, Resorts and Clubs became a member of the Hilton
family of hotels.
