A General Surgeon performs a broad range of general surgical procedures. The broad field of general surgery includes Gastrointestinal Surgery, Trauma and Surgical Critical Care, Minimally Invasive Surgery/Bariatric Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Laparoscopic Surgery. Each of these in turn covers a broad spectrum.
